557 Lorne Scots RCACC is a youth leadership program for ages 12–18, offering hands-on training in leadership, outdoor adventure, teamwork, and citizenship. Our mission is to help young people build confidence, discipline, and lifelong skills through meaningful, real-world experiences.
As part of the Lorne Scots Regiment, we proudly carry a tradition of excellence, mentoring cadets to become strong leaders in their schools, communities, and future careers.
At 557, cadets take part in:
Weekly parade nights
Field training exercises
Marksmanship, drill, and fitness
Team leadership and instructional opportunities
Community service and citizenship activities
Optional teams such as Band and Marksmanship
The program is free to join, and all required equipment and uniforms are provided at no cost.
